Gut gelegenes kleines, altes aber ordentliches Hot
Die Lage zum Hafen, Strand, Altstadt Stadt, Bahnhof sehr gut.
Besonders nah Santa Maria del Mar, sehr schöne Atmosphäre am Abend.

Super schlechtes Hotel, nicht zu empfehlen. Auch nicht für paare. Das Haus verdient keine zwei Sterne. Die Heizung in der Lobby hat nicht funktioniert die zimmer klein vom Bad wollen wir gar nicht sprechen. Ich hab immer gesagt Hauptsache ein Bett und ein anständiges Bad. Aber das geht gar nicht!!!!! Nur das Personal war super nett. Nicht mal die wollten da arbeiten. investiert 50 € mehr und nimmt euch was vernünftiges, glaubt mir!!!

Durchschnittliches Stadthotel
Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und mit dem Zug vom Flughafen direkt zu erreichen. Einmal über die Straße ist man auch gleich im Nachtleben. Es ist aber schon recht laut. Die Sauberkeit läßt zu wünschen übrig, aber für den Preis sollte man halt nicht zuviel erwarten. Aber Barcelona entschädigt immer wieder für diese kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten.

El hotel es horrible, sucio, habitaciones mínimas, sin placares. Un palo y unas pocas perchas rotas colgadas. Al baño se entraba con un paso. Girando a la derecha se usaba el lavatorio. Girando a la izquierda se usaba el inodoro y si dabas un paso mas, entrabas a la ducha. Las cortinas eran negras de la mugre. Las fotos que vean son mentirosas. Pasillos oscuros. El ascensor era para una persona y una valija. No pidan un taxi en recepción. Los estafan.

Tolle Lage, nettes Personal, schlechte Zimmer
Das Gebäude ist von außen schön, ein altes Gebäude mit gut erhaltener Fassade. Innen ist das Hotel verwinkelt und eng, das ist zu erwarten bei einem solchen Gebäude. Die Flure wirkten sauber. Das Publikum ist international gemischt. Kleine Gruppen, junge Paare.
Die Lage ist Top, zur Metro-Station Barceloneta ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Auch die Anreise vom Flughafen ist toll. Mit der Bahn direkt vom Terminal 2 mit der Bahn bis zum Bahnhof. Dort einmal umsteigen (gegenüberliegendes Gleis) und bis zum Banhof Franca fahren. Das Hotel liegt direkt nebenan.Die Nähe zum Wasser, zum gotischen Viertel und zum Viertel Raval, der Rambla ist toll.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Spanisch, war sowieso kein Problem und auch das Englisch war sehr gut.
Die Zimmer sind extrem klein. Die Lampen hingen bei uns schief von der Wand, der Duschvorhang war so kurz, dass das Bad nach dem Duschen unter Wasser stand. Dieses Wasser zog dann in den hölzernen Türrahmen und dort immer höher. Der Türrahmen löste sich also auf. Auch die Deckenverkleidung im Bad hing teilweise nicht mehr in der Verankerung. Hier war der Eindruck am schlechtesten. Es sind eine Menge Kleinigkeiten, die eigentlich sehr schnell behoben werden könnten und die Zimmer damit sehr aufwerten würden. Die Sauberkeit war nicht besonders. Auf den Laken waren irgendwelche schwarzen Fusseln, die Decke selbst war lediglich eine sehr alte und nicht gerade ansehnliche Wolldecke. Das ginge mit wenig Aufwand viel besser. Schade!

Hotel nähe Ramblas, nähe Hafen, um die Ecke Bahnhof
Uns wurde aus dem Hotel an der Reception die Handtasche geklaut und die Reception interessierte sich nicht besonders für das Ereignis. Sehr unfreundliche Begrüssung beim Einchecken. Musste meinen Namen auf einer Liste suchen.
Sehr alte Möbel, Dusche musste zuerst fünf Minuten die angenehme Temperatur eingestellt werden. Sehr enger Raum. Dafür bekamen wir jeden Tag frische Handtücher.

Das Hotel liegt zentral.Die Zimmer sind dreckig und verkommen,Bettwäsche schmutzig,Löcher in der Überdecke,Putz fiel von den Wänden u.lag auf dem Boden,keine Fussleisten.......Hatten meinen Eltern die Städtereise geschenkt,habe mich geschämt,eine solche Absteige ausgesucht zu haben,sah im Internet eigentlich prima aus,Eltern waren zu Recht entsetzt,haben alles gefilmt und auf Fotos festgehalten.Wir konnten es nicht glauben,da der Preis nicht gerade niedrig war.Meine Eltern haben noch nicht einmal die Dusche benutzen wollen,so schmierig war alles,Personal tat so,als wäre alles normal.Das war leider kein gutes Geschenk,sondern eine Zumutung!!!!!!!

Günstiges Hotel - ideale Lage
Das Hotel entspricht den Katalogbeschreibungen. Unser Zimmer war klein aber sauber. Gäste aus allen Ländern und Alterschichten. Das Hotel ist zwar alt aber nicht verkommen
Besser gehts nicht. In unmittelbarer Nähe der Altstadt, ca. 100 Meter von der Bahnstation Franca.
Zimmerreinigung in Ordnung, keine Beanstandungen, Personal (Portier und Bar) immer freundlich.
Typisch spanisch eben. Brötchen, Croissant, Butter, Marmelade, Kaffee. Als wir außerhalb frühstückten bekamen wir exakt das Gleiche.
In der Bar befand sich ein Fernsehapparat auf dem vorwiegend Basketballspiele liefen.
Zimmer sind putzig klein und niedrig. Wir haben uns aber eh nur zum Schlafen dahinbegeben. Wer große Betten gewohnt ist, hat Probleme, obwohl das Bett selbst gut war, keine durchhängende Matratzen oder so. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig. TV bietet nur spanische Sender. Das ebenfallssehr kleine Bad besteht aus Badewanne (klein) WC und Waschbecken

Sehr günstiges Hotel für einen Barcelona-Trip
Das Hotel liegt direkt im Bereich Bahnhof, Hafen und sehr nahe an der Rambla und Altstadt. Für einen Städtetrip ideal, da es sehr günstig ist und man sowieso nicht viel Zeit am Zimmer verbringt. In der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig, trotz Zentrumsnähe. Im Zimmer muss mein leider Abstriche mache, da der Verputz nicht mehr ganz an den Wänden hält. Das Frühstück ist gut, jedoch sehr kleine Auswahl.

Hotel für den kleineren Geldbeutel
Das relativ kleine Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten lange hinter sich. Die Einrichtung ist schon recht alt, aber ok. Der Lift ist nichts für Gäste, die an Klaustrophobie leiden. Die Gästestruktur war gemischt, hauptsächlich Europäer (Briten, Niederländer, Deutsche...). Zum Teil kleine Gruppen, teils Individualreisende. Ich hatte Nächtigung mit Frühstück gebucht.
Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer kleinen Nebenstrasse, direkt beim Estacio de Franca Bahnhof, nur wenige Schritte vom Gotischen Viertel entfernt. Die Hafenpromenade und das nette Multikulti-Viertel Barceloneta sind etwa einen halben Kilometer entfernt. Zum Strand von Barcelona geht man etwa einen Kilometer. Die nächste U-Bahn Station (Barceloneta) liegt quasi um die Ecke. Trotzdem hat mir die unmittelbare Umgebung des Hotels weniger gefallen, etwas öde.
Gegen den Service kann ich nichts sagen, war dem Standard des Hotels entsprechend gut. Check-In ging schnell, das Personal war freundlich.
Das Frühstück wurde in einem angrenzenden Cafe serviert. Es war eher minimalistisch, zwei Brötchen, Butter und Marmelade, Kaffee und Saft. Aber immerhin gab es ein kleines Frühstück.
Das Zimmer war etwas eng, aber ok. Die Einrichtung alt, aber sauber. Das Bad war durchaus in Ordnung.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum Barcelonas, wenige Minuten von der Rambla entfernt. Dies ist auch der einzige Pluspunkt des Hotels, ansonsten darf man sich nämlich keinerlei Services und Annehmlichkeiten mehr erwarten. Das Hotelzimmer war winzig, sehr dunkel und etwas heruntergekommen. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag das selbe. Die Mitarbeiter waren nicht zuvorkommend und teilweise unfreundlich.

Perfect value.
The hotel was small but nice. Ideal for travellers, who in Barcelona especially sport, culture or want to party. The rooms are functional, rather small but very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The gastronomic is rather modest, still it was worth a stay in the hotel bar anyway (very cheap). Terrific is the location of the hotel; 1 minute walk from the metro terminus De Franco, right from airport. The metro station is also Barceloneta in 3 minutes walk. Rambla, harbor, beach, shopping district within a stones throw away. On our next Barcelona stay check we will stay at Santa Marta.

Sleepless in Barcelona
The hotel has about 6 floors, about 10 rooms/floor. We had booked on a room only basis. The elevator comes when he wants (or not), to the bedrooms are a passcard, at the really something expertise requires that it works (the first time we needed about 10 tries, and later fighting live broadcast).

Hotel was only suitable for sleeping. But the location is good, metro is about 4 minutes and the beach about 10 minutes away. Breakfast 1Croissant and 1 soft rolls, 2 sorts of jam (every day). Good true the service with complaints, we had to move rooms as mold was/is.

Basic hotel in very good location
The hotel Santa Marta is distinguished by its very central location. To the Gothic Quarter and to the beach it was only a few hundred yards and the train station Franca, shopping and restaurants, as well as the Ciutadella Park with the Zoo are in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is basic through its age and the location a pleasant charm and is for 2 stars fully in order. The nationalities of the visitors are mixed.
The location is excellent. We were there to Merce festival going on at city center and the events were all within walking distance so you no worry free we transportation is required. Check-in and check-out was quick and friendly. On issues such as for example. The rooms were cleaned well as long as you are not looked on under the bed. For 2 stars perfectly fine.

Sencillo hotel de 60 habitaciones, con bar, habitaciones parcialmente renovadas, en la ciudad, con desayuno español y clientes internacionales.
Sencillo hotel al lado del barrio Gótico, parada de metro de Barceloneta a 1 minuto a pie. Situado en una zona tranquila, en una calle lateral. Está a 10 minutos de la playa y está en un lugar ideal para explorar la ciudad!
Personal de recepción muy amable y servicial. En el servicio de desayuno hay grandes diferencias. Camareros simpáticos en el bar.
Salvo la sala de desayuno y el bar no ofrecían más gastronomía en el hotel.
No ofrecían actividades deportivas, pero en un hotel en la ciudad tampoco es necesario.
Habitaciones muy pequeñas, equipadas de forma sencilla, pero limpias. Los baños son muy nuevos pero hay muy poco espacio. Aire acondicionado de uso individual, televisor únicamente con programas en castellano, asombrosamente silencioso salvo por los ascensores, cambio de toallas diário y cambio de sábanas cada dos días.

Super lugar: directo junto a la estación de metro "de Franco" a la que se puede llegar directamente desde el aeropuerto sin necesidad de cambiarse. 5 Minutos a pie hay un barrio histórico "Bari Gothic", 10 min a la rambla y también 10 min a la super playa de la ciudad. Central pero al mismo tiempo tranquilo, se puede dormir con la ventana abierta...sólo puedo recomendar este hotel. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, pero uno no viene a BCN a estar dentro del hotel. La única carencia: no hay caja de seguridad en la habitación, el recepcionista guarda las cosas de valor en un armario (de madera) en la recepción.
